About The Position

Liberty Defense Group LLC, a veteran-owned security company, is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Armed Security Specialist to provide security coverage at assigned client locations. The role is intended for someone seeking flexible part-time hours while helping maintain a safe and secure environment. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate other commitments.

The specialist provides security through foot patrols and stationary posts, maintains a visible presence, monitors assigned areas, responds to alarms and incidents, and safely carries and operates a firearm in accordance with applicable laws, training, and company policies. The role also involves communicating with clients, visitors, and team members; completing incident reports and activity logs; and following company policies, post orders, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card and Agent ID, or be eligible to obtain them.
• Must have a firearm, a Level 2 or higher holster, and a magazine pouch.
• Must be legally eligible to carry a firearm.
• Must successfully complete required background checks, firearms training, and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage through foot patrols and stationary posts.
