About The Position

Liberty Defense Group is hiring an Armed Security Specialist for a new contract to start November 1st. Officers will be posted at a fixed security post. The Armed Security Officer is responsible for protecting clients, employees, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, strong situational awareness, and professional response to routine and emergency situations.

Requirements

• State-issued Agent ID (or ability to obtain)
• Armed Security Guard Card (or ability to obtain)
• Duty firearm with Level II or higher retention holster
• Magazine pouch
• OC Spray
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally eligible to carry a firearm
• Successfully complete all required firearms qualifications
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations

Nice To Haves

• Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot, vehicle, and stationary patrols
• Monitor assigned areas to deter criminal activity
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Complete building, gate, and perimeter inspections
• Enforce client policies while providing excellent customer service
• Operate radios, surveillance equipment, and security systems
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with all company policies
