Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense and aerospace location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to support the control of entry to sensitive areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support incident reporting, assist with investigations of security-related concerns, and maintain preparedness for changing conditions across indoor and outdoor working environments.
