Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support day-to-day operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Verify credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and support access control procedures for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site policies.
  • Support incident response by communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed, maintaining readiness to address disturbances, policy violations, and other security-related events.
