As a Armed Security Officer Tidal Rd in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution terminal location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of terminal buildings, access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, vehicle documentation, and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
