As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership, site management, and local emergency responders as needed.
