You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
