As a Armed Security Officer - Days Full Time in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Professional at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will engage with customers, tenants, and staff while providing professional communication and service. Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined: law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail and mall visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with the public and site personnel.
