About The Position

Excelsior Defense is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join their exceptional team. The selected individual will protect client's premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence, preventing illegal or inappropriate actions, and controlling access to the property. Responsibilities include performing rounds, scanning various points throughout the property as per the housing contract, and promptly patrolling the community to ensure safety.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D and G security license (Needs to be active with both security license)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Must have your own weapon
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detain orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Responsibilities

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Report and detain any suspicious incidents
• Report Writing
• Performing rounds and scanning in different points throughout the property
• Patrolling the community to ensure safety
