About The Position
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Associate in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of verifiable experience
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must have a minimum of three (2) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
- Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
- Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
