Requirements

• 3 years law enforcement, corrections or active/retired military
• Must currently own a full-size Glock or Smith & Wesson in either 9mm or .40 caliber
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Can always stay alert
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
• 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years Armed security experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CT Carry permit
• CT Armed security license

Responsibilities

• Staying very alert
• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
• Using oral de-escalation when needed
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur
