Armed Security Officer, Full Time Night
About The Position
Saint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join their team. This role requires knowledge of all aspects of security, including patrolling, approved security responses, and reporting incidents/issues according to department procedures. Individuals must be 21 years or older. The shift details are Full Time Night, with shifts either from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM or 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. The hospital offers highly competitive salaries based on education, certification, and experience, with a starting hourly rate of $25.00. The ideal candidate is excited about working with people, has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, is willing to work, adaptable, and eager to learn. This position requires working autonomously as well as with a team.
Requirements
- Individuals must be 21 years or older.
- Armed Private Officer Commission KCPD - KCPD Board of Police Commissioners
- Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
- Driver's License - Class E - Various
- Private Officer Commission - Various

Responsibilities
- Assists employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs, controlling entrances and exits to parking lots.
- Patrols hospital campus and reports safety/security issues according to department procedures.
- Provides personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.
