About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Haverhill MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in government and transportation industries. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service. This position requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and public emergency services as needed.
  • Prepare accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations, incidents, and operational concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
