Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, assist with access control as needed, and support loss prevention and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
