Sunstates Security is seeking seasoned, professional, Armed Security Officers to protect personnel, property, and assets at high-value client sites across the South Austin Metro area. This is a premium-rate part-time position designed for highly skilled officers who bring real-world experience and hold themselves to the highest professional standard. The role pays $30/hr, paid weekly, which is above the Austin market average, because above-average results are expected. Requirements

Texas Level III or IV Security License in hand
Must be available to work weekends
5 years of security experience
5 years of customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Attention to details
Must have open availability to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

Former Law Enforcement/Military highly preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
Conduct hourly foot and/or vehicle patrols
Escort Client Team Members
Interact with visitors, members of the public, and team members in a highly professional manner
Respond to alarms, incidents, and disturbances
Address trespassers and enforce property rules
Professionally interact with homeless and transient individuals
De-escalate situations and contact law enforcement when necessary
Complete accurate hourly and daily activity and incident reports
Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
