Requirements

21+ Years of Age
Active Armed Guard Card/License
Valid Driver's License
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, parking areas, delivery areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain required certifications and responsibly carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site requirements.
