As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
