As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver DoD Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of business areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy concerns.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
