As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control activities, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or incident information according to site requirements.
• Maintain required qualifications for an armed post and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
