About The Position

Bullock Protection LLC, a leader in private security services, is currently seeking to fill a role for a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer. The chosen candidate will be part of our skilled team, aimed at providing high-quality security services to protect our clients’ premises, assets, and personnel. This is a Full-Time and Part-Time position, and it is essential to note that this job is not a Remote Job and requires the officer’s physical presence at the designated locations. This role demands a responsible individual who can handle high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times. The nature of this position requires carrying and operating a firearm, which demands a high level of expertise, responsibility, and ethical standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in security services is an advantage.
Proven experience as a security officer or guard with a minimum of 2 years, preferably in armed roles.
Valid armed security officer license and certification to carry a firearm.
Extensive knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
Proficiency in operating security equipment and software.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and the general public.
Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to assess changing security environments.
Physical fitness and strength to perform patrol duties and respond to incidents effectively.
Availability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
A clean criminal record, demonstrating reliability and integrity.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor the physical premises to detect any suspicious activities and ensure the safety of the property and personnel.
Operate security devices and equipment to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances by following protocol to maintain safety and report any incidents.
Stay vigilant to detect emergent situations and hazards and respond effectively as trained.
Manage access points and control the entry and departure of personnel to prevent unauthorized access.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Provide detailed reports of observations and incidents, including any preventive actions taken.
Perform risk assessments within the area of responsibility to ensure all possible risks are identified and mitigated.
Uphold company regulations concerning security and confidentiality issues to maintain order on the premises.
Periodic safety drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for any security emergency.
