About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Armed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout Perry County, PA. This role is ideal for individuals seeking extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. Officers will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment at their assigned locations by monitoring entrances, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and completing required documentation. The position requires adherence to site policies and professional communication with clients and personnel. Candidates must meet all Pennsylvania requirements for armed security officers and possess necessary firearms qualifications.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
- Must meet all applicable Pennsylvania requirements to work as an armed security officer
- Must possess and maintain any required firearms qualifications and certifications for the assignment
- Candidates must be legally qualified to perform armed security duties in Pennsylvania and must meet all applicable requirements for the position and specific assignment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and designated post locations
- Conduct security patrols as required by the assignment
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, employees, and other personnel
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity
- Safely and professionally perform all duties associated with an armed security assignment
