Armed Security Officer Sanford Area
About The Position
Excelsior Defense is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our exceptional team. This part-time role involves protecting client premises, assets, and personnel in the Sanford Area. The selected individual will patrol the area, maintain a high-visibility presence, prevent illegal or inappropriate actions, and manage access control. Responsibilities include conducting rounds, scanning various points throughout the property, and providing clients with a reliable security presence. The officer must be prompt in patrolling the community to ensure safety and will be required to submit hourly reports with pictures.
Requirements
- Report Writing Skills Required
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid D and G security License (Needs to be active with both Security License)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have your own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/Protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Responsibilities
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report and detain any suspicious incidents
- Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract
- Looking for a dedicated worker who will do reports with pictures every hour
- The officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe
