Armed Security Officer Sanford Area
About The Position
Excelsior Defense is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our exceptional team. This part-time role involves protecting client premises, assets, and personnel by patrolling the area, maintaining a high-visibility presence, preventing illegal or inappropriate actions, and managing access control. Responsibilities include conducting rounds and scanning various points throughout the property as per the housing contract. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, capable of completing hourly reports with pictures, and will provide clients with a reliable security presence. The officer must be prompt in patrolling the community to ensure safety. This position is located in the Sanford Area.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid D and G security License (Needs to be active with both Security License)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have your own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/Protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Responsibilities
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents
- Report Writing
- Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract
- Provide clients with a reliable Security officer
- Patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe
- Doing reports with pictures every hour
