About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting armed post duties in accordance with site rules and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify badges, credentials, and/or vehicle authorization for entry into controlled areas while documenting security-related observations and activities.
  • Support incident documentation and communication by preparing reports, relaying important information to supervisors and/or local responders, and following post orders for escalated situations.
