Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain an armed presence as assigned, remaining prepared to respond to security-related events, policy violations, and/or emergency situations consistent with post orders and training.
