About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Armed Security Officer. This role requires an individual with a keen sense of observation, the ability to anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Physical ability is essential as the role involves patrolling various environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers throughout the entire shift. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $36/hour, with DailyPay available. The site location is Cerritos, CA, with a schedule of 8 hours on Sundays from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• CPR certification
• At least 2 years experience as an Armed Officer
• State-issued armed security license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state
• CA security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during the hiring process)
• CA Exposed Firearm Permit

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
