Requirements

  • Security Guard credentialed from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Proactive Safety Missions: Take command of the environment by identifying potential threats and executing immediate response plans to maintain a secure and healing atmosphere for all staff and visitors.
  • Master High-Stakes Incident Management: Drive organizational safety by investigating security hazards and documenting every detail to ensure accurate high-quality records for future risk mitigation.
  • Champion Emergency Readiness Plans: Act as a vital technical lead by mastering all alarm systems and emergency protocols to ensure the team is prepared for any disaster or security simulation.
  • Ensure Public Safety and Assistance: Protect the well-being of the community by providing clear guidance and a reassuring professional presence to help visitors navigate the facility safely during stressful times.
