As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • Possess proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials or authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
