Requirements

CPR Certification
Armed Guard Card

Nice To Haves

Military Veteran
Loss Prevention experience
Law Enforcement experience
Corrections experience
Security experience
Fire, EMT or Alarm Response experience
NC Driver's License
CPR, AED and basic first aid certification

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the main reception/security desk
Greet visitors, tenants, contractors, and vendors
Verify appointments and authorization for entry
Issue visitor credentials and temporary access badges
Maintain accurate visitor logs
Enforce property access control procedures
Manage electronic badge access
Control visitor entry into restricted areas
Verify contractor and vendor credentials
Coordinate access requests with authorized tenant representatives
Monitor secured entry points
Respond to unauthorized access attempts
Continuously monitor CCTV systems
Observe suspicious activity
Document security concerns
Notify property management of unusual events
Coordinate emergency response when necessary
Preserve video evidence when requested
Maintain a professional armed security presence
Deter criminal activity through high visibility
Assist tenants and visitors
Respond to disturbances
Handle suspicious persons and suspicious packages
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders
Complete professional documentation including Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Visitor Logs, Vendor Access Logs, Security Notifications, and Maintenance/Safety Observations upon request.
