About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time and part-time Armed Security Officer to be located at the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, SD. This position will obtain the responsibility and duty of maintaining the safety and protection of EROS Government facilities and personnel to include, but not limited to: patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and permitting entry.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older with valid license
• Must complete a Background check (criminal/financial)
• Must complete a Physical
• Must complete a Drug screen
• Must complete First Aid/CPR/AED certification (issued by ADC)
• Must complete a weapons qualification course
• Must not be disqualified due to domestic violence
