Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, contractors, and approved visitors.
• Support emergency situations by following post orders, communicating with local authorities and/or site leadership, and assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, and other response activities as directed.
