About The Position

We are seeking an Overnight Armed Security Officer to work full-time in Houston, TX, 77013. This position involves working 3 days per week from 10 PM to 6 AM (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Additional days at a different post are available for a full-time schedule. The role requires performing access controls, patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, securing exits, providing assistance, and submitting reports. Requirements

• Level III Commissioned License is required
• Customer service skills
• Familiarity with detailed report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
• Registered as a security officer on DPS or possesses a valid Level II/III certificates.
• Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.

Nice To Haves

• Two more days at a different post if you want a full time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform access controls at gates.
• Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Benefits

• The position pays $15.00 per hour, and plus $2.00 using your vehicle, for a total of $17.00 hourly.
