Unarmed Security Officer Position, TX 77054
About The Position
We are hiring a professional UNARMED security officer for a multifamily site in Houston, TX 77054. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week (Wednesday through Sunday) from 10 PM to 6 AM. The role involves performing vehicle access control, active foot patrols, monitoring property entrances, securing exits, providing assistance, and submitting reports. The position pays $14.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for using your vehicle, totaling $15 hourly. Requirements
- Level II Uncommissioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS
- Previous experience in Security highly preferred
- Strong customer service
- Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must have a working smart phone.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform access controls at gates.
- Active foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- Displaying security guard core values.
