As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or hazards, and document incidents according to site procedures.
  • Maintain required firearm, equipment, and incident-reporting readiness while following applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
