Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
