About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, professional Armed Security Officer Supervisor to support safety and security operations within an upscale country club community in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate is disciplined, attentive, and committed to providing high level security and exceptional customer service. This role involves performing duties that include access control operations, conducting foot or vehicle patrol, securing equipment and people, performing surveillance, utilizing gatehouse technology, completing detailed reports, responding effectively to emergency situations, and preventing criminal activity all while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and guests.

Requirements

• Possess valid Florida Class D and G security licenses
• Possess valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
• Ability to pass a mental health assessment
• Reliable transportation

• Ability to perform duties in both indoor and outdoor settings
• Must be capable of working in diverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain, for extended periods
• Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing), walk for extended periods, traverse the property, or move between posts for the duration of an 8-hour shift, or as operationally required
• Must be able to maintain constant alertness and professional posture throughout the assigned period
• Ability to continuously walk on various surfaces including pavement, grass, and uneven terrain while conducting interior and exterior rounds
• Must be able to react quickly to emergency situations, which may include running, climbing stairs, or navigating obstacles
• Must have the visual acuity to monitor CCTV and observe surroundings
• Must have the auditory ability to respond to alarms and communicate via two-way radio or telephone
• Frequent reaching; occasional squatting, kneeling, or stooping to inspect vehicles or property
• Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to clearly exchange information, provide instructions, and draft written reports in English
• Must maintain mental alertness and attention to detail during long periods of observation

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in a gated country club environment performing patrol, gatehouse, and security dispatch duties
• Experience with alarm systems and responding to alarm activations
• Experience with ABDI gate access system
• Experience with Avigilon camera systems
• Traffic Hawk speeding enforcement
• Familiarity with scheduling processes

• Patrols the property, adjacent buildings, and club grounds throughout assigned shifts
• Performs additional duties as directed by management
• Identifies and resolves security-related issues while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Coordinates activities within the Command Center
• Interprets and communicates Cambridge Security Services policies to subordinate personnel
• Evaluates employee performance and ensures adherence to company standards
• Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times
