Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the location to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value spaces, verifying credentials, controlling authorized access, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and other sensitive operations as assigned, maintaining a professional presence and following all post orders and weapon-handling requirements.
