As a Armed Security Officer - Reception Center in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer in an armed post, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor the lobby, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and front desk protocols at a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to support authorized entry in accordance with security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, direct guests, and maintain accurate visitor logs, badges, and/or arrival records while supporting daily front desk operations.
  • Observe the front desk area for unusual activity and help to deter disruptions by reporting concerns promptly and following emergency response activities when needed.
