As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
  • Monitor access activity, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
  • Maintain required reports and daily activity logs, including patrol findings, incidents, and interactions with personnel or visitors.
