About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Operations in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting incidents, observations, and required reports accurately.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
