As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to members, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious persons, activities, and/or conditions according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following applicable armed-post procedures and Allied Universal policies.
