As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in San Marcos, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, and support loss prevention efforts as directed by the location.
• Complete required reports and document incidents, observations, and/or response actions while communicating with local management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
