As a Armed Security Officer Mobile Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires an armed guard card and valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the residential community, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional support or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
