As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, reliability, and teamwork in a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization of individuals entering or exiting the location, and maintain awareness of movement within assigned areas.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
