As a Security Officer - Headquarters Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and utility infrastructure to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, hazards, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Control access for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles; verify credentials and maintain accurate activity reports.
