As a Security Officer Armed Visitor Check In in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct deliveries, and communicate visitor or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and follow established escalation procedures.
  • Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment.
