As an Armed Security Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring sound judgment. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, supporting compliance with facility requirements for personnel, deliveries, and visitors.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
