As a Armed Security Officer Area Patrol Driver in Waxahachie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. At a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in an armed, driving post, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and high-traffic spaces to help support loss prevention efforts and report suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, helping to support a professional environment while following Allied Universal standards and client site protocols.
