As a Armed Security Officer - Apartment Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Officer for a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, drive as needed, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs with integrity. Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and site activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support incident response by preparing clear reports, preserving relevant details, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or first responders when appropriate.
