Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking Armed Security Guards in Birmingham, AL. The Security Officer position is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Officers may also provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. Requirements
- Must be currently licensed as an Armed Security Guard.
- Must have an active Alabama ASRB Card.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must supply your own Registered Firearm that you used to qualify.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work alone.
- Must be at least 21+ years of age for ARMED roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for ARMED Roles).
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Be attentive and notice potential risks or incidents.
- Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
- Serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck yards.
